A clear enquiry helps identify the right glass family, system configuration and supporting documents. Whether you are a door manufacturer, glazing fabricator, consultant, distributor or contractor, the following information makes the first discussion more useful.
Give the project country or city, project stage and your role. Explain where the glass will be used: a door vision panel, partition, window, facade, skylight or another assembly. State whether it is an interior or exterior application.
State the required classification and duration, the applicable standard and any project specification. Include acoustic, impact or environmental requirements where relevant. If the requirement is not yet settled, mark it “to be confirmed” and share the available specification.
Provide width, height and quantity for each panel. Make clear whether dimensions describe the glass or the opening. If a thickness has already been nominated, include it along with the reason or existing system reference.
Attach drawings showing the frame or door material, sections, leaf thickness, glazing pocket, beads, seals and fixing details. Fire performance depends on the complete assembly; a glass-only description is not sufficient to confirm system suitability.
Tell us whether you need glass supply, support for your existing system, or a complete MINGAN assembly. Include evaluation, testing, submission, purchasing and delivery dates where known.
Share existing specifications, relevant report references and the questions you want the technical team to address. This helps us identify which documents are relevant to the proposed application.
Download the one-page Fire-Resistant Glass Enquiry Checklist (PDF), then submit your enquiry and drawings.
